Sponsorship

At Hunts for Healing we warmly accept your generosity when you or your company sponsor an event or warrior: affording them the opportunity to participate in our hunting & fishing events, and other fun outdoor activities. Individual and corporate sponsorships are an ideal way to demonstrate the support these selfless individuals are so deserving of. Your contribution goes a long way in helping our men and women adjust to their “new normal”; by providing a home-like atmosphere and outdoor experiences that challenge, encourage, and promote healing from within. Hunts for Healing has an open door policy that allows our guests to stay in touch, to return to our base camp for future events, and gives them an opportunity to become involved with our volunteer services.

Our Director of Events, Mindy Piccotti, will be happy to provide you with the information you need to get started as a Hunts for Healing Sponsor, and we encourage you to visit the preserve and lodge in order to become better acquainted with our facility and services.

Contact Mindy at: mpiccotti@huntsforhealing.org If a sponsorship is not an option at this time, please consider a private donation.

Click DONATE NOW to get started. Every little bit helps and every little bit is appreciated!

Note to our Sponsors:

Dear Friends,

We hope this letter finds you well and write to express our gratitude for your support of the Hunts for Healing Fund and to update you on how your donation was put to use in 2009. Hunts for Healing was established in February, 2009 to promote challenging outdoor activities for our wounded and recovering service men and women, and provide a place to heal from within.

As we celebrate our early years of service, we look back with grateful hearts at all that has been accomplished. From our original vision, to the establishment of the fund; from the first event in March, to the wonderful plans slated for the future, this special mission has accomplished what it was designed and destined to do.

Your generosity has provided the following for our guest participants:

Pheasant and upland hunting

Turkey hunting Coyote and raccoon hunts

Fishing on the Susquehanna River

Francis Slocum State Park Bow hunting for deer hunting and fishing gear

Meals and lodging Transportation

Hosted a family for a 4th of July celebration

Clay target shooting Camo, ammo, licenses and blinds.

We have been told that we are unique in what we do. Our veteran, mentor support groups see the individual and not the disability; seeking opportunities to open dialogue, share experiences and offer hope. Our network of fundraising partners has helped not only to raise money but to raise awareness promoting our cause. Our faith-based partners provide home cooked lunches and are the extended hands of a loving God.

In closing, we would like to acknowledge the many volunteers, mentors, guides (and their field dogs), that contributed their time and talents in making our events such a success! We would love to list you each by name, but you know who you are. We have much to offer our heroes in 2010 and hope that you continue to walk with us in this journey with the hope that one day we are no longer needed.

With sincere appreciation,

Hunts for Healing founders and board members Mindy Piccotti, John Yenason, Barbara Roberts and Tammy Smith
